Vane Type Knitted Wire Mesh Demister Pad

Also known as cyclone demister filter, vane demister, oil filter mesh pad. Mainly processed from stainless steel woven knitted mesh. Stainless Steel 304 Knitting Demister Wire Mesh Pad is popularly used to remove the mists and liquid droplets entrained in thermal heating filtration system. The mesh type or vane pack structure demister separator is a kind of vapor liquid separating device. Also known as mist eliminator. Mainly used for separating diameter greater than 3 ~ 5 micron droplets. Installation and Work Principle

When the air with mist rises up at certain speeds and gets through wire mesh, mist will collide with wire and will be attached on the surface of wire in the effect of rising inertia. The dispersion and sedimentation makes mist form bigger and bigger drops until it is heavier than the combined forces of gas rising force and liquids surface tensile and wires capillarity. Therefore, liquid drop will be separated and fall off from wire. Mist is essentially eliminated after gas gets through wire mesh demister.
